MyAngola

MyAngola goal is to provide poor children and parents in disadvantage African countries and children with disabilities with a fun and safe environment for learning Math, and possibly other subjects such as Science and Computer Information through the use of our suite of internet, print and multimedia based products. We are committed to find affordable high quality materials that will be easy to use while remaining interesting and innovative. We want to engage children, parents and teachers to new ways of learning.

My Angola will create web pages relevant to the education of Math, Science, Computer Information and Reading. To study these different areas of knowledge, My Angola is contemplating four forms of intervention:

1. The production and staging of educational material on the internet. This will be available to students who are capable of self-study via information from specialists and professionals of the subject matter;

2. The implementation of a special educational program for Angolan children planned by the voluntary collaboration of professional members;

3. The creation of educational material on CD media and subsequent distribution to school teachers whose are in remote locations where they do not have access to the Internet;

4. The establishment of a program to collect equipment, hardware and software that will be sent to schools who are in dire need of technology. This program will include the setup, testing and training to manage said equipment.
